Welcome to Hachinohe City! “Odeyanse!”
Here at Hachinohe Gakuin University’s Global English Seminar, we’re studying and working hard to bring Hachinohe to you and you to Hachinohe! We’ve put together a basic travel and location app that’s simple to use, but will allow you to get around our town without having to know Japanese or the locally-spoken dialect, called Nanbu-ben! Input a category and find stuff, or just explore by looking at what’s around you!
We’re constantly making upgrades and adding info, and we hope that those of you who come for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo will make your way up North, called “Michinoku” or “end of the road”, to see the wonders of the area and meet some of the locals!
